Born and raised in San Francisco and a daughter of a Stanford alum, I am very familiar with the area. Now a sophomore at Stanford, I am majoring in Symbolic Systems and am a coxswain on the Division I Women's Rowing Team. In addition to classes, I teach Introduction to Public Speaking, in which I instruct undergrads, graduate, and doctorate students how to best communicate with an audience or an interviewer. I am also a member of Stanford Women in Business, a group of Stanford women who focus on learning about and educating each other on business and our role as women today in various different fields. Before Stanford, I attended Phillips Exeter Academy where I often babysat for teachers' children on campus. During the summers, I returned to my preschool to run summer sessions. My responsibilities ranged from teaching lessons to playing outside. Finally, I am a Red Cross certified babysitter!
I love games! No matter a child's age, I love to join them in challenging the mind by playing. My favorite games are puzzles, cards, and words games. I also love cooking, baking, and going on mini adventures to the park or the movies.
As a coxswain, I have been training with a rowing team for seven years now. I love to play sports and be active. Also through teaching public speaking, discovered my passion for and talent in communication.
