My name is Emily Buretz and I am a recent graduate from the University of Missouri Journalism School. I studied Strategic Communications and now work for a Non Profit organization called ACE Scholarships in Denver. I am currently living in Platt Park and have a flexible work schedule, especially on Fridays. Evening and weekend babysitting works best for me. In college, I was a nanny for a one year old girl during my Junior and senior year. I watched baby Maggie starting at 6 months until she was 18 months. I have also nannied 3 girls, one was 3 years old, and the twin girls were 5 years old. I was a camp counselor for 3 years at Camp Kesem, a camp for kids (ages 5-16) who have parents with cancer. I was managing the youngest cabin with 8 kids at a time, the more the merrier! I have my own mode of transportation and am willing to travel to care after your children.
I love taking kids outside to parks or on easy hikes, whatever they like to do outdoors! I like a variety of things like museums, or lemonade stands or arts and crafts. I am very creative and love to stay busy but will do whatever the kids enjoy most!
I like to cook, I love arts and crafts, and have taught swim lessons before! I am a writer and avid reader and can certainly help tutor kids in their reading/writing skills.
