I have been babysitting consistently since I was in 6th grade. I have a wide variety of experience with over 25 families of all different sizes and ages. I still have a close relationship with many families whose kids have grown up. As the oldest on both sides of my family I have always been surrounded by children (two of my cousins are twins and one of my cousins has special needs) and I know how to handle many situations, while most importantly having fun and making sure they are comfortable and happy. I remember when I was little I would always cry when the babysitter would come over. I always make sure that the kids are happy to see me and want me to come back, while sticking to the parents rules of course. I am 25 years old and work for the Dallas Stars Hockey Club, NHL team in Dallas. I am available all week nights and weekends, I can do overnight babysitting, errands, drop off and pickups and travel babysitting. I love pets and I always make sure the house is spotless when the parents get home. I know the last thing any parent wants is to come home to a messy house. I keep in contact with many families and their children and would be more than happy to send over their contact information as references. I have been babysitting for over 13 years and have experienced just about everything humanly possible which makes me extremely comfortable with all children of all ages.
Arts and crafts, hide and seek, outdoor activities, building forts, putting on plays, playing doctor and pretend, puzzles, reading books/ help with reading, cooking dinner, going on walks, homework help/tutoring, sports for fun and for practice in terms of skills and board games.
I was accepted in SMU Meadows School of the Arts with an emphasis on Fine Art. I played Varsity tennis and Varsity lacrosse throughout high school at Mary Institute St. Louis Country Day School in St. Louis, MO (where I am from and where my family lives). After graduating from SMU, I stayed in Dallas and received an offer from Dallas' NHL team, Dallas Stars, working in Sponsorship as an Activation Coordinator. Being my third season with the Stars, I am now an Activation Manager in Corporate Partnerships. I graduated Cum Laude with honors double majoring in Sports Management and Journalism at SMU in 2014. My brother played Division 1 lacrosse at Providence College in Rhode Island and now is in Dallas as well.
